Locations are spread evenly in a 40-mile radius. You must navigate to the checkpoints (map provided in the WayHopper app), plan efficient routes, and work your way up the leaderboard.

NavDash is a navigational, vehicle-based adventure that combines a navigational road rally with a scavenger hunt. Participants locate checkpoints and strategically create their own route in real time. You and your co-driver/team will maximize points by finding the most efficient route and checking into as many locations as possible.

The WayHopper app requires a selfie at every check-in (be sure everyone in your vehicle is in the photo). This is NOT used for location verification—it’s simply a fun social feature that shares your adventure live during the event.

Tips for Success

1. Bring a backup battery or charging cable for your phone.
2. A co-driver with good navigation skills is a huge advantage. Otherwise you’ll need to safely pull over to plan your next stop and check in.
3. Plan your route before leaving. Point values increase the farther you travel from the starting location. A smart route is the key to winning.
4. Watch traffic, construction, and congestion. Smart decisions often beat the shortest distance.
5. Digital connectivity is required. If cell service is poor in an area, simply skip that checkpoint. You may connect to available Wi-Fi if needed. Check-ins are accepted within a 600-foot radius.
6. If your GPS seems inaccurate, toggle Airplane Mode ON then OFF, close the WayHopper app, and reopen it. This usually refreshes your GPS location.

How to Join

1. Download and sign up for the WayHopper app.

4. Arrive at Blacktop Sunday before 11:00 AM on Sunday, July 5.

The game officially ends and the app automatically stops accepting check-ins.
